We suggest taking a look at what you can expect upon your arrival to Cottage House. Pelee Island is a teeny community on a beautiful island. The remoteness of our community typically means you should do your best to arrive prepared.
We do have a lovely little store on the Island called The Pelee Island Co-op where you will find some basic supplies if you happen to forget an item or two.

Both Cottages Include:
The Bedrooms
1 Queen Size Bed, 1 Double Bed and 2 Twin Beds (Bunk beds with guard rails)
Lamps with USB Ports
Ceiling Fan
Pillows and Comforters
*Please note that you must bring your own sheets and towels as these items are not supplied.
The Kitchen
The Kitchens are fully equipped with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, coffee filters, fridge, stove, microwave, dish towels and cleaning supplies.
The small tap on the kitchen sink is filtered drinking water. One water cooler jug of water is supplied (please keep in mind that you may want to bring your own water to be certain of supply. 5 Gallon Water jugs are available for sale at the Pelee Island Co Op. If the water jug in your cottage is empty, you will find additional bottles in the basement that you are welcome to)
*Please note that paper towels and tin foil, are not supplied.
The Living Room
You will find the cottage equipped with antennae TV, Smart TV's or Firesticks
DVD Player and some DVD's along with Board Games are available for your use.
The Bathroom
The bathroom offers a stand up shower, you will find a hand towel and bath matt upon your arrival along with toilet paper that is septic tank safe.
There is also a hair dryer located in the bathroom cabinet under the sink.
Outdoors
Covered Porches offer you a great space to relax and enjoy a book or a glass of wine!
The property has a charcoal BBQ and a propane BBQ with BBQ Utensils - Charcoal is not supplied. You are able to purchase charcoal at The Pelee Island Co-Op
You will find 6 chairs for the Bonfire areas for your use.
The properties share a common driveway. Please ensure you leave space for everyone to come and go. The front and back yards including the area directly in front of the decks are septic tanks and can not be parked on. Parking is in the driveway only.
You will find assorted bikes in the basement, including 4 new cruisers. (Access to the basement is around the side of the house)
There are also 2 sit on top kayaks for your use.
Kayaks and bikes must be used with your own safety equipment.
*Ensure you bring proper helmet and Life Jackets.
Firewood
*Please note that firewood is not included
Firewood can be purchased on Harris Garno Road.
The Extra's To Be Noted
To Be Noted: The property has staircase entrances, private decks, bonfire areas and plenty of space to relax and enjoy a week on Pelee Island.
