THE COTTAGE HOUSE MANUAL

Prepared for you to ensure a wonderful stay!

Condition of the Property

We do our best to have everything ready and welcoming for your arrival to ensure an amazing time on Pelee Island. To avoid any issues, please review the few house rules below before confirming your stay — and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

As a helpful guideline, please do your best to leave things as you found them. We will take care of the cleaning after your departure.

Please note this is a self-serve property. If you need anything special during your stay, it’s best to bring it with you. Being a remote island community, some items may be hard to find locally. You’re welcome to use certain items listed on our Included page.

Door Locks

Please do not lock the external basement door, as it needs to be accessed by guests, the owner, and cleaning staff during your stay.

Each main door lock has a unique code you’ll receive after completing your check-in form.

The front cottage lock may look like it’s broken, but rest assured it works — turning the lock disables the interior handle, ensuring the door is securely locked.

Bedding and Linens

Please bring your own sheets and towels, as these are not supplied — this is standard on Pelee Island.

Each cottage includes: 1 Queen, 1 Double, and 2 Twin beds.

Hand towels, dish towels, comforters, and bath mats are provided.

Laundry facilities are available but not on Sundays, reserved exclusively for cleaner and owner use.

Check-in / Check-out
